65-year-old Singaporean busker Mr Wee Toon Hee, better known as Juggler H, captivates audiences with high-risk juggling performances, including his signature act of juggling while balancing on a two-tier Rola Bola apparatus. Although he appears calm on stage, he admits he still feels nervous before every performance, as the stunt requires intense concentration and physical control. Before becoming a professional busker, Mr Wee had several different careers. After discovering that life at sea was not for him as a deck cadet, he enrolled in SP, where he studied mechanical engineering. After graduating during a weak job market, he joined Singapore Airlines as a cabin crew member for six years before moving into engineering project management and later the shipping industry's marketing sector. His interest in juggling was sparked in the late 1990s after watching a street performer in Singapore's Central Business District. Curious about the craft, he joined a small juggling group that met at The Substation, marking the beginning of a passion that eventually led him to become a full-time busker. Despite the risks involved, Wee continues to perform because he enjoys entertaining audiences and creating memorable experiences through street performance.
