SP alumnus Jovi Lim began his entrepreneurial journey from his bedroom last year, using savings from an internship to buy a 3D printer. Self-taught through YouTube tutorials on design and 3D modelling, the 20-year-old launched Sonogo, a brand selling stylish, sustainable designer lamps made from plant-based materials. What started as a fun project creating small items evolved into a business with over 350 lamps sold. Motivated by his love for architecture and interior design—and the lack of affordable options for students—Mr Lim set out to offer well-designed, wallet-friendly lamps. His products stand out for their clean aesthetics, accessible pricing, and meaningful design stories, earning him a growing customer base. Similar news reported on Red Hot Singapore.
