At a unique orientation held on 5 April at the SPH News Centre, the Lianhe Zaobao Student Correspondents’ Club welcomed 83 new trainee correspondents, including 60 writers, 6 artists, and 17 photographers, through an immersive 2040-themed mystery where AI has taken control of the newsroom and the “Three Laws” protecting humans have been removed. Participants worked in teams to uncover the truth by gathering clues, simulating investigative journalism. Among the 40th batch of student correspondents is Wang Jing Han, a writing trainee from SP.
