The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has launched a caring metro train and created a welcoming commuting environment through the five senses to encourage the public to be more inclusive and caring for other passengers when using public transport. Wei Qi, a Singapore Polytechnic student who participated in the design of the subway, said: "We used a brighter pastel colour so that people can relax their mood when riding the subway.”
