Organised by Guru DebaPrasad Nrutya Dhara (GDPND), founded in 2013 by Guru Sasmita Pal, the festival showcases Singapore’s thriving Indian classical arts scene. Over the past decade, GDPND has trained more than 100 students from diverse backgrounds, including community members and students like 19-year-old Priya Dash from SP. The school not only teaches dance but also instils discipline, confidence, and cultural pride, integrating Odissi into Singapore’s multicultural fabric through performances at temples, community centres, and public arts events.
