Putri Emily thought she would pursue her interest in Malay dance as a co-curricular activity (CCA) when she was in SP. However, with her family's encouragement to try something new, Emily chose to join the all-female dikir barat group, Seri Thera, at SP. Some students and trainees remember her from the singing competition, Juara Mic Junior (JMJ), which she participated in in 2017. From there, she felt like she was destined to become Tok Juara," shared Putri, 18, who is a second-year SP student of the Diploma in Media, Arts & Design (Sound & Music).
