Singapore marked a key step towards a sustainable energy future during the Singapore Energy Lecture, where Minister Dr Tan See Leng outlined the nation’s four pillars for energy transition: Sustainable pathways, Interconnectivity, Ecosystem resilience, and Workforce capabilities. As part of workforce development, ITE launched a Technical Engineer Diploma in Electrical Engineering (Clean Energy), preparing students for clean energy careers and meeting EMA’s Licensed Electrical Technician (LET) requirements. To ensure continuous learning and a future-ready workforce, EMA collaborates with SP and SIT through the Green Skills Committee to offer continuing education programmes in emerging areas like renewable energy integration and smart grid technologies.
