Singapore’s aerospace industry is expanding rapidly as the Asia-Pacific region becomes the world’s largest aviation market, with passenger demand and aircraft deliveries growing strongly. At the Singapore Airshow 2026, industry leaders announced new investments and collaborations that will deepen Singapore’s role in maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), aerospace manufacturing, and innovation, supported by a mature ecosystem of over 130 companies and a 22,000-strong workforce. Singapore accounts for a significant share of global MRO output and is strengthening its air hub connectivity and advanced manufacturing capabilities to capture future growth. To build talent for this industry, initiatives include partnerships such as one between Singapore Aero Engine Services and SP to align training with industry needs and train more technicians over the next five years.
