To drive food innovation and provide solutions for the sustainable development and supply assurance of food in Singapore, SP has established the Future Food Lab, connecting industry and academic resources to cultivate professional talents. On Wednesday 17 April, at the annual Joint Polytechnic-ITE Food Manufacturing Career Fair, SP Principal and CEO Soh Wai Wah made the announcement. Mr Soh stated that, consistent with the theme of this year's recruitment fair, the Future Food Lab aims to promote innovation and sustainable development in the food sector, realising the "30·30" vision, which aims to increase the amount of locally produced agricultural products to meet 30% of the nutritional needs of Singaporeans by 2030.
