Students from SP’s Strength Athletics Club visited the PPT Lodge 1A dormitory at Seletar North Link on 8 December to promote powerlifting and assist with lifting techniques. However, they discovered a strong sense of camaraderie and skill among the migrant workers, many of whom were already seasoned in the sport. Chemical engineering student Danish Irfan, was impressed by the workers' expertise, stating he observed more than he taught during the session. The workshop, co-organised by the Ace Group under the Ministry of Manpower, was held ahead of International Migrants Day to support the well-being of the migrant workforce.
