ST Engineering to hire more cybersecurity experts as it launches new innovation hub

ST Engineering is expanding its cybersecurity workforce with the launch of a new Cybersecurity Centre of Excellence, which will focus on developing agentic AI-driven cybersecurity solutions and nurturing local talent. The centre, which begins operations on 1 December, will start with 26 cybersecurity experts, with plans to increase headcount to 81 within three years. Its work will advance agentic AI applications in areas such as next-generation security operations centres, digital forensics, and incident response. A key goal is to build a skilled cybersecurity talent pipeline, supported by dedicated labs and training programmes at RP and SP. ST Engineering said it will train and upskill students on the agentic AI solutions developed at the centre, equipping them to work in AI-assisted cybersecurity environments. Similar news reported in The Edge Singapore and Singapore Business Review.
