Broby Pets was started by Year 2 SP Diploma in Business Administration students, Caleb and Hyuga. It began as an idea to replace the Elizabethan Collar which prevent dogs from licking their wounds after surgery. After realising the bigger struggle vets face daily, like spending hours writing consultation notes, they pivoted to a smarter solution: an AI tool that auto-generates notes and valuable data for research and reports. Their innovation has earned them a spot among the Top 100 Startups at Echelon Singapore, Southeast Asia’s leading tech and startup conference that connects promising innovators with investors, industry leaders, and the regional startup community. They will be expanding their business to Japan to bring their products there by December this year, and are in the midst of creating a physical product. The startup is also looking into using data for research and improving veterinary care overall. The system will be expanding into new markets to also provide services to humans.
