On 6 October, Canon announced the return of its annual Think Big Leadership Business Series, themed “Sailing Through a Sea of Uncertainty: Building a Resilience-Ready Toolkit to Thrive in an Unpredictable Future.” The event aims to equip businesses to navigate global uncertainty and technological disruption, with discussions on how Singapore can strengthen its position as a regional powerhouse through AI and innovation. SP was represented by Mr Toh Ser Khoon, Senior Director of the Engineering Cluster and Managing Director of Singapore Polytechnic International, who spoke on the Innovation & Digital Transformation in the Special Economic Zone (SEZ) track. Mr Toh emphasised that the Johor-Singapore SEZ serves as a strategic platform to expand markets, drive innovation, and foster cross-border partnerships. “By fostering talent, technology, and enterprise transformation, it empowers companies, especially SMEs, to scale and adapt,” he said.
