A group of youths launched an initiative to organise and promote wellness knowledge and community engagement activities in the East Coast area, attracting over 300 elderly residents. 14 youths from the East Coast Internship Programme organised the East Coast Health Quest event on Sunday, 2 June. Huang Bao Yi, a youth volunteer who graduated from SP’s Diploma in Optometry, participated as a volunteer in the event yesterday. Using the knowledge she has acquired, she shared information about common eye diseases and prevention methods with attendees, aiming to raise awareness about the importance of regular eye check-ups.
