A team of five students from the Diploma in Civil Engineering (DCE) emerged as Champions at the NUS-SISV Built Environment Cost & Contract Talent Challenge, held from 6th to 8th January 2026.
The team—comprising Naing Min Htet, Sai Aung Thant, Thet Swe Htun, Bhone Myat Thu, and Luo Qiwen —competed against over 60 students from various institutions, securing the top spot and a $3,000 cash prize.
Key Highlights of the Challenge:
- Role-Play: Acted as Quantity Surveyors for a residential development.
- Sustainability: Evaluated the cost-efficiency of green building materials.
- Contract Management: Developed strategic proposals for project feasibility.
