On 7 and 14 August 2026, students from the Diploma in Applied Chemistry (DAPC) visited Thomson Health Singapore on 7 and 14 August 2026, gaining valuable insights into pharmaceutical manufacturing and quality systems in a real industry setting.

The factory visits provided students with valuable firsthand exposure to how current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) principles are applied in a real-world manufacturing environment. Through guided tours and industry sharing, students gained insights into manufacturing operations, quality assurance and control, regulatory compliance, and the stringent standards required to ensure product quality, safety, and consistency.

This industry exposure reinforced classroom learning by connecting theory with real-world applications and helping students better understand industry expectations and the professional skills required for the pharmaceutical and healthcare sectors.
