Our Year 3 students embarked on a workforce transformation project with our client, Shalom International Movers. Adopting the design thinking methodology, students designed practical HR solutions with the company's stakeholders through empathy studies and co-creation. The implemented solutions enhanced the company's policies and processes in onboarding, learning & development, performance management and HR automation. An established brand in the transport and logistics industry, Shalom is the recipient of various awards like the Enabling Employers Award, Singapore Business Excellence, Singapore Quality Class with Innovation and People niches award, as well as the ASEAN Business Award.
Heartware Network Singapore recently embarked on a transformative workforce project with DHRMP students using the design thinking methodology, guided by their IDARE values: Integrity, Dedication, Authenticity, Resilience, and Empathy. This innovative approach focused on understanding the unique needs and challenges of their team. Through empathy-driven research, collaborative brainstorming via co-creation sessions and iterative prototyping, we developed tailored solutions to enhance the organisation's HR processes. The project fostered a culture of continuous improvement and sustainability, empowering their workforce to thrive in a dynamic environment yet creating value for the community and stakeholders, as well as nurturing resilient and compassionate leaders for the future.
