From overcoming dyslexia to earning the MOH Holdings Healthcare Merit Award, Ethan Wong, an alumnus from the Diploma in Biotechnology (now a specialisation under the Diploma in Biomedical Science), has come a long way!

Despite entering SP with no biology background, Ethan’s passion for early disease prevention - paired with SP’s biology prep courses and the unwavering support of his lecturers - helped him thrive. His resilience continues to drive him as he pursues a Bachelor’s in Diagnostic Radiography at the Singapore Institute of Technology.

What’s next after his bond at the National Cancer Centre Singapore? Ethan hopes to further his journey at Duke-NUS Medical School or dive into research to advance early disease prevention.
