Students from the Diploma in Food Science and Technology (DFST) course recently partnered with Active Health to support their Musculoskeletal (MSK) Day initiative at Woodlands Health. This collaboration highlighted the strong connection between academic learning and community health promotion.
The students volunteered across two half-day sessions, contributing meaningfully to both preparation and outreach efforts. On 26 March 2026, students prepared the nutritious snack, applying their food science knowledge to create healthy options that aligned with Active Health's focus on senior nutrition.
