Team SPrint won 3rd Place in Simulation Challenge (Tertiary Category) and 4th Place in Physical Robotics Challenge (Tertiary Category) at RoboRoarZ Singapore 2026 from 22 to 23 Jan 2026, amid competition from 20 IHL teams from seven countries.
RoboRoarZ competition is an annual competition organised by Singapore University of Technology and Design (SUTD) and co-sponsored by Lionsbot, Mapletree Investments, The James Dyson Foundation, Kajima, and ADT Solution. The competition was also supported by IEEE Singapore Section, IEEE Women in Engineering, NUS IEEE Student Branch, WSH Council and Wefaa Robotics. It comprised students from primary schools, secondary schools, junior colleges, institute of technical education, polytechnics, and universities.
This design-centred reconfigurable robotics competition aimed to foster creativity, innovation, and collaboration among the participants using SUTD-designed reconfigurable robotics platform “Smorphi”. The goal was to establish a vibrant local and international community leveraging reconfigurable robots in solving real-world challenges.
