SP participated in the recent Industrial Transformation ASIA-PACIFIC (ITAP) 2023 event, which took place from the 18th to the 20th of October at the Singapore EXPO.  The event was a great success and highlighted SP's strong commitment to fostering international collaboration and facilitating the exchange of knowledge in the field of technology and innovation. A significant milestone was the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between SP and the Malaysian Research Accelerator for Technology & Innovation (MRANTI). This partnership marked MRANTI's first venture with a Singaporean educational institution, aiming to provide SP students with valuable international opportunities, internships, and collaborative projects in the realm of drone and robotics development.

During the event, we were honoured to host Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies, Mr. Heng Swee Keat, at the SP booth. His visit was a valuable opportunity to showcase SP's company and workforce transformation capabilities, offering insights into the practical applications of our initiatives within the industry. Notably, Mr. Heng Swee Keat acknowledged the SP-MRANTI MoU signing during his keynote address, underscoring the significance of our collaborative efforts.

In addition to this, SP hosted a networking event during ITAP 2023, which saw the signing of four MoUs with industry partners: Singapore Environment Council (SEC), Singapore Manufacturing Federation (SMF), Smart i4.0 Transformation Alliance (SiTA), and TÜV SÜD. These partnerships aim to cultivate a dynamic learning environment for our students, equipping them with the essential skills necessary for success in the future workforce. The event also served as a platform for industry leaders to exchange insights and explore potential collaborations, highlighting SP's proactive role in bridging academia and the industry.
