Mind the Gap: Turning Psychology into Community Impact

Mind The gap, a final year project developed in collaboration with SBS Transit to promote greater understanding and inclusion of commuters with autism on public transport. Grounded in psychological research and community engagement, the team translated their findings into an interactive three-day public exhibition at Tampines Bus Interchange, engaging more than 600 commuters.

The project received a $5,000 Youth ChangeMakers Grant and was recognised as Runner-Up at the Singapore Psychological Society Student Research Awards, demonstrating how psychology can move beyond the classroom to shape meaningful, real-world community experiences.
