The School of Business (SB) celebrated the entrepreneurial spirit and achievements of our Year 1 students at BETA Day 2026, marking a milestone in their journey through the Business Essentials Through Actions (BETA) programme.
The celebration was made even more special as we commemorated SB’s 40th Anniversary (SB40). This year, the BETA Bazaar was also officially recognised by the Singapore Book of Records as Singapore’s Largest Student Bazaar - a proud testament to the creativity, passion and entrepreneurial spirit of our students.
From Ideas to Action

BETA goes beyond the classroom, giving students the opportunity to create, launch and operate real businesses through experiential, project-based learning. Supported by workshops and industry mentors, students develop practical skills in business management, strategic decision-making, problem-solving and teamwork.
BETA Day brought together students, parents, mentors and the SB community to celebrate their achievements, while recognising the partnerships that support students throughout their entrepreneurial journey.
Grand Pitch Finals
One of the highlights of BETA Day was the Grand Pitch Finals, where shortlisted teams took to the stage to pitch their businesses and showcase the creativity, strategic thinking and resilience developed throughout their BETA journey.
