For 40 years, Singapore Polytechnic’s School of Business (SB) has been shaping #MoreThanJust business minds. It has been nurturing resilient, enterprising and purpose-driven individuals ready to make their mark on the world.

SB40 Staraisers 2026

To commemorate this milestone, SB40 Staraisers 2026 brought SB’s journey to life through #MoreThanJust: an original theatre production created and staged entirely by our students and lecturers. Inspired by real stories from SB alumni, the production took audiences across four decades – from the first cohort in 1986 to today’s AI-driven world – exploring the setbacks, sacrifices, breakthroughs and choices that shape a leader.

At its heart, #MoreThanJust reflects the mindset that has defined SB for 40 years: Act. Reflect. Transform. (A.R.T.®). Through storytelling, music, movement and an alumni chorus, the production explored what makes us more than our credentials, titles or achievements, while celebrating the courage, purpose and human spirit behind every business journey.

Celebrating with Purpose

But SB40 is about more than looking back. It is also about giving back and shaping the future. Through #MoreThanJust, we raised a total of $50,312.80, including the Tote Board 40% dollar-for-dollar match. All ticket proceeds, alongside profits from 60 student-run BETA businesses, were donated to Honour Singapore in support of its Nurturing Future Leaders initiative.

The partnership reflects SB’s belief that business education goes beyond technical skills and commercial success. It is about developing leaders who innovate with purpose, lead with integrity and create meaningful impact.
