On 17–18 December 2025, the School of Computing (SoC) welcomed fourteen students from Daelim University, South Korea, for a vibrant two-day programme focused on Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Generative AI. On the first day, Daelim students explored AI fundamentals and hands-on prototyping with Generative AI tools, capped by an inspiring industry session from Dell Technologies’ AI Innovation Hub.

Day two featured a cross-cultural mini hackathon, where Daelim and SoC students teamed up to brainstorm, build, and present AI-enabled solutions. The event fostered not only technical skills but also international friendships and teamwork. Students praised the experience for its collaborative spirit and the opportunity to learn across cultures.

Encouraged by the enthusiastic feedback, both institutions look forward to future collaborations, continuing to create meaningful and exciting learning journeys for students.
