10 to 14 March 2026 - 21 students and 2 staff took part in an Overseas Study Trip to Shenzhen, China, a global hub for innovation and technology. Over five days, students experienced firsthand how ideas are turned into real-world solutions and gained a deeper understanding of the city’s fast-paced tech landscape.
The group visited companies such as x2Robot, Voice AI, and Cocorobo, where they learned more about robotics, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. These visits helped connect classroom learning to real industry applications and gave students a clearer picture of how innovation is developed and scaled. At The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK), Shenzhen, students were also introduced to further study opportunities, including English-taught programmes and scholarships.

On the final day, they hiked up Lian Hua Hill Park, where they enjoyed panoramic views of the city skyline and saw the statue of Deng Xiaoping, a key figure behind Shenzhen’s transformation.
Many students found the trip eye-opening, gaining new perspectives on opportunities beyond Singapore and a better appreciation of the global tech landscape.
