On 9 June 2025, a group of students from the Diploma in Information Technology (DIT) course (to be renamed to Diploma in Computer Science), under the Industry Now Curriculum (INC), embarked on an insightful trip to the Singapore Discovery Centre (SDC).

During the visit, students were introduced to SDC’s Audio Guide system and participated in the Sustainability Eco Tour. They learned about SDC’s green initiatives, including floating solar panels, urban farming, and the use of technologies such as IoT, data analytics, and energy management. The experience fostered innovation, creativity, and a deeper understanding of how Computer Science contributes to sustainable energy solutions.
