On 4 November 2025, the Defence Science and Technology Agency (DSTA) Scholarship Award Ceremony honoured outstanding young talents committed to advancing Singapore’s defence technology ecosystem.

Among the recipients was Raghavan Praventika, a Year 2 student from the Diploma in Applied AI & Analytics (DAAA) course, who received the DSTA Polytechnic Digital Scholarship for her exceptional dedication and growth in applied AI.

Reflecting on her achievement, Praventika shared that her journey at SP was initially overwhelming, with challenges in balancing modules, CCAs, hackathons, and personal expectations. Through perseverance and the unwavering support of family, friends, lecturers, and peers, she overcame moments of doubt and embraced opportunities to learn and grow.

“This scholarship is more than a personal milestone; it represents resilience, hard work, and the people who supported me. I am grateful to DSTA for recognising my potential and for this incredible opportunity,” she said.
