CNA, 14 November 2025 - Rehabify is a new app that turns physical exercises into interactive, game-like experiences for seniors. The app was developed by three students from the Diploma in Information Technology (now, renamed to Diploma in Computer Science DCS) —Lim Jian Ping, Rafael Macam, and Reyes Ng—who were motivated by Ng’s volunteer work with the Singapore Red Cross. Noticing that traditional physiotherapy and exercise routines for seniors are often dull and uninspiring, the team used computer vision and AI to create games controlled by body movements instead of controllers. Their goal is not only to make exercise enjoyable but also to encourage consistency in seniors’ physical activity, blending eldercare with innovation and empathy.
During SWITCH 2025, Lim Jian Ping, serving as Founder and Business Development lead, shared his journey of building a tech-driven rehabilitation solution aimed at improving patient recovery experiences. His presentation drew attention to the increasing number of SP alumni turning their innovative ideas into practical business ventures. Their entry won them the 2025 Grand Prize at SP Batey Challenge 2025.
Rehabify was also featured in the on The Wellness Hour on CNA938.
