Keep Growing – Internationalisation With NovaMeats

NovaMeats, a Singapore-based start-up has worked closely with Food Innovation & Resource Centre (FIRC) @ Singapore Polytechnic to develop its plant-based products for commercialisation. Since then, NovaMeats has successfully launched the products in China. It has set up a manufacturing plant with production volume of 2,000 tonnes and hopes to produce 30,000 tonnes to serve the growing demand in China and the rest of Asia.

FIRC’s collaboration journey with NovaMeats started in the unforgettable year of 2020 when Covid-19 pandemic wreaked havocs throughout the global markets. Through the strong convictions of NovaMeats to change the world, catalyzed by the enthusiasm and dedications of FIRC’s technologists, Novameats was able to grow its plant-based meat product from concepts to commercialization and internationalization swiftly within 2.5 years.
