Minor 

Students joining SP in AY22/23 will get a choice to do 3 or 5 electives from a basket of electives on offer. Minor will be awarded when a student completes a suite of related elective modules.

Minor in Asia Readiness 

(With effect from AY2023/2024)

 

The Minor in Asia Readiness aims to foster a global mindset in SP students and equip them with the tools to meet the demands of new challenges in our globalised world. In this Minor, students will learn and apply skills to demonstrate intercultural empathy, appreciate multicultural differences and actively engage to bridge cultural and economic differences.

Minor in Data & Artificial Intelligence 

 

 

The Minor in Data & Artificial Intelligence trains students to develop deep skills to work with Data for AI; these are emerging skills needed across multiple industry sectors. 

Students are required to complete all 5 elective modules as shown below:

A pass in EP0302 is a prerequisite for taking EP0610 and EP0611.

A pass in EP0611 is a prerequisite for taking EP0304.

Minor in Data & AI

 

Notes:

1. Students from DAAA will be excluded from this Minor.

2. Students who successfully complete both the Minor and internship will be awarded an additional e-certificate in AISG’s AI Data Apprenticeship Programme (AIDP).

3. All students who undertake the Minor in Data and AI will read EP0612 as their first elective in the program except,

  1. DARCH, DID, DLA and DBS students who will do EP0302 as their first elective;
  2. DMB (Path A5) students will read EP0302 as their first elective while DMB (Path B5) students will read both EP0612 and EP0302 simultaneously, as their first electives in the Minor.

4. SB/DMB students who have read MS1522 or MS7524 would be exempted from EP0612.

Minor in Entrepreneurship

The Minor in Entrepreneurship will provide SP students with opportunities to cultivate entrepreneurial mind set, behaviours, attributes and competencies that prepare them for the changing environment.

Students are required to complete 4 elective modules and should take the modules listed in A, B, C and any 1 from D as shown below:

Note:

1. DBA students who intend to pursue a specialisation in Entrepreneurship should not also take up the Minor in Entrepreneurship.

Minor in Sustainability

The Minor in Sustainability aims to:

i. inculcate in students a holistic approach towards the practice of sustainability at both personal and societal levels;

ii. equip students with the right tools and perspectives in order to contribute to various corporate sustainability drives in the marketplace. 

 

Students are required to complete 4 elective modules listed below:
