Videotto, a Singapore-based AI-native video editing startup founded by 18-year-olds SP Diploma in Engineering with Business student Tay Yao Ming and NP Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering student Ian Lee, has secured seed funding from East Ventures, one of Southeast Asia’s leading venture capital firms. Developed to simplify the complexity of traditional editing tools, Videotto uses AI to automatically identify key moments, add captions, balance sound and lighting, and generate platform-optimised short videos. The system also learns each user’s editing style over time, enabling quick and polished video creation. Videotto will make its public debut at the Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) 2025, from 29 to 31 October, under the booths of SP and NP, showcasing the startup’s innovative AI technology to the public for the first time.
