20 SG companies expand business to Johor following JS-SEZ agreement

Twenty Singapore-based companies have expanded their businesses to Johor seven months after the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ) agreement was signed, bringing Singapore closer to achieving its target of establishing 100 projects within 10 years in the special economic zone. To support the growing number of business and leisure travellers, Ascott Coronation Square Johor Bahru is set to be built in the economic zone. Minister of State for Trade and Industry, Mr Alvin Tan, said SP is working with the Johor Skills Development Council and HEIs in Johor to ensure that citizens and workers in both Johor and Singapore have the skills needed to fill these positions
