SP’s Youth Model ASEAN Conference (YMAC) 2026 brought together about 160 youth delegates from Singapore and across ASEAN for a five-day simulation of an ASEAN Summit, highlighting the growing role of young leaders in shaping regional cooperation and innovation. The Philippines Ambassador to Singapore H.E Medardo Macaraig, who attended as Guest-of-Honour for the closing ceremony, emphasised the importance of strengthening ASEAN unity amid geopolitical uncertainty, economic transformation, and climate challenges, while encouraging youth to drive inclusive growth and deeper regional integration. The conference, supported by the Ministry of Culture, Community and Youth and the National Youth Council, continues to serve as a key platform for youth engagement and dialogue on regional issues.
