With the proliferation of offices, workplaces and shopping centres in suburban areas, the perception of what constitutes a good location is already shifting. Previously, the concept of “near” or “convenient” was associated with proximity to the city centre. In October 2024, we were introduced to the Prime, Plus and Standard flat classification model, so that there is a clearer distinction in quality, amenities and overall living experience, beyond just proximity to the city centre. Clementi Emerald is situated near one-north, a vibrant business park and research hub encompassing specialised clusters, including Biopolis (biomedical sciences), Fusionopolis (infocomm technology and media), and Mediapolis (media and digital entertainment). Furthermore, NUS, SP, NUH, and Holland Village are all nearby.
