The Digital Defence Alliance Singapore marked its first anniversary by signing a series of Memoranda of Understanding aimed at strengthening Singapore’s cybersecurity ecosystem and talent pipeline. The alliance signed agreements with ITE, NYP and SP to deepen collaboration between educational institutions and industry partners in digital security and cyber defence. Over the past year, the alliance has also worked with agencies including the Infocomm Media Development Authority, National Youth Council and the Ministry of Defence to organise cyber defence initiatives, hackathons, youth outreach and community engagement programmes. The article said these efforts aim to build awareness of cybersecurity challenges and strengthen Singapore’s long-term digital resilience by nurturing future cyber defenders.
