SP Diploma in Interior Design graduand, Ms Syuhrah Huwaida Yamanhizas, said her final-year project, Sands of Times, was not her first choice; however, the scarcity of sand resources and their impact on the environment caught her attention. She described her learning process throughout the project as an eye-opening experience, as it gave her the opportunity to gain a new perspective on the environment. Ms Syuhrah, who plans to pursue a career in interior design, hopes that this project will increase public awareness and understanding of the issue.
