Defence Minister Mr Chan Chun Sing emphasised the significance of the ‘Sentinel’ programme during the ‘Sentinel’ challenge at SP. The programme, initiated by the Singapore Armed Forces' Digital and Intelligence Service, aims to cultivate cyber security and digital skills among youth. Students are encouraged to become mentors, sharing their knowledge with future generations. The recent challenge involved 75 teams completing various tasks, with awards given to top performers. Participant Suvikshan Chinnadurai highlighted the learning experience in programming and cyber security. Starting next year, artificial intelligence lessons will be incorporated into the programme to better prepare students for future challenges.
