The five Singapore polytechnics will hold their 2026 annual open houses from 8 to 10 January, offering prospective students and families a lively mix of activities, academic insights and creations by current students. TP will host its Evening Fest on 9 January with free food from popular outlets like Playmade and HaiDiLao, live performances by TP students and local musicians, giveaways, arcade games, photo booths, campus tours, seminars, and course counselling. SP will feature its Industry & Innovation Showcase, including a student-designed horror-themed VR escape room where players explore eerie chambers to uncover the story of a “doomed bride”, as well as displays of projects such as an AI tutor and steroid-free eczema cream, plus tours, talks and co-curricular try-outs. SP is also introducing a new year-two entry pathway for its Outstanding Talent (SPOT) programme and a Certificate of Achievement in Teamwork for students in the top half of their cohort. RP’s open house will spotlight AI innovation challenges created by students, while NP will hold its Bites and Vibes fest showcasing student-run businesses and offer new computing courses and revamped programmes. NYP will feature its signature Night Open House with guided tours, CCA performances and hands-on workshops, along with new student hangout spaces being unveiled during the event. Campus tours, academic talks and career guidance will be available across all polytechnics, making the open houses both informative and engaging for visitors.
