The Straits Times is offering polytechnic and ITE students a chance to earn vouchers by logging into their ST student accounts. Students who log in using their school email address will receive a $5 Grab voucher and automatically qualify for a lucky draw, where three winners will each receive JBL Sense Pro True Wireless Open-Ear Headphones worth $249. The promotion runs until 23 October 2026. The campaign is aimed at encouraging students to read more. SP student Titus Lee Kai Jie, 17, won a pair of Bose Noise Cancelling QuietComfort Earbuds in an August Straits Times campaign. He said he was surprised and excited by the win and grateful to The Straits Times for organising the giveaway. Kai Jie, who is studying Engineering at SP, said he found an ST article about NUS making AI courses compulsory and giving students access to ChatGPT Edu particularly interesting. He said AI is becoming increasingly relevant to how students learn and how they may work in the future. The article also featured a Straits Times roadshow at NYP in July 2026, as part of its efforts to engage students.
