In 2020, Luo Bao Hua took over The Very Special Choir, a group for youths with special needs, providing them with a platform to build confidence and contribute to society through performances. Inspired by the transformation of her daughter, Anna Ou, who has Down syndrome and became more confident after joining, Luo devoted herself to supporting similar families. Despite facing challenges in mainstream education, Anna persevered, graduating from ITE in 2024, before working as a retail assistant at the former Heartlands@SP while also mentoring newer choir members as a supportive “big sister”.
