Mr Nuh Syazwan Muhammad Zulkarnaen, 23, overcame the challenges of dyslexia with determination and support from the Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS), progressing from primary school to the ITE and SP, where he studied interior design. He is now serving National Service and will pursue landscape architecture at the National University of Singapore (NUS), while encouraging greater support for those with dyslexia and stressing that the condition does not mean they are less intelligent or capable.
