Prince Edward Road MRT is a new Circle Line 6 (CCL6) station in Singapore’s Downtown Core that is set to open in the first half of 2026, completing the final segment between HarbourFront and Marina Bay that will make the Circle Line a full loop. Before its transformation into an MRT site, the location was historically significant as the original campus of SP — Singapore’s first polytechnic, established in the late 1950s and later relocated to its current Dover campus in 1978. The station will improve access to parts of Shenton Way and Tanjong Pagar, easing commuter journeys across the CBD once operational.
