Reuniting on big screen after 17 years, Christopher Lee and Fann Wong lend their voices to animated film for first time

Local celebrity couple Christopher Lee and Fann Wong are reuniting on the big screen after 17 years, lending their voices to the Emperor and Empress respectively in the Singapore-produced 3D-style animated film Xuan Ming Ge. It marks their first time working together on an animated voice project since appearing in the 2009 romantic comedy The Wedding Game. Inspired by the Tang Dynasty, the film follows Crown Prince Chengxi as he enters an academy for aristocratic children, where he meets Siyu and uncovers a hidden pavilion containing an ancient secret that could change their destinies and the future of the empire. The production brings together local industry professionals and young creative talent, including students from SP’s Media, Arts & Design School, specialising in animation, games, sound and music, as well as students from ITE College Central’s School of Design & Media.
