SP has launched a new Industrial AI Governance Framework to help manufacturers adopt artificial intelligence responsibly and at scale. The framework provides practical guidance for industrial applications such as predictive maintenance, machine vision inspection, quality control, robotics optimisation, and AI-assisted engineering, while encouraging companies to start with targeted use cases before expanding AI deployment. SP also worked with two small and medium-sized enterprises to pilot the framework, helping them identify AI-related risks and strengthen governance practices. Alongside the framework, SP announced a new Industrial AI and Governance Literacy programme, beginning in October 2026, to equip students and industry professionals with skills in responsible AI implementation. SP also formalised nine partnerships with organisations across manufacturing, semiconductors, robotics, sustainability, and higher education to strengthen talent development, support enterprise digital transformation, and advance Singapore's industrial AI capabilities. Mr Soh Wai Wah, Principal and CEO of SP, was also quoted in Tech Node Global, Tech Coffee House, and The Edge Singapore, mentioning that the partnership will help equip graduates, adult learners, and industry partners with the skills to use AI responsibly and thrive in an AI-driven economy.
