SP student entrepreneurs showcased their startups and innovations at the SP Pavilion during Singapore Week of Innovation and Technology (SWITCH) 2025, highlighting the use of AI to solve real-world challenges and SP’s commitment to fostering innovation and entrepreneurship. A standout was Videotto, an AI-driven video automation platform co-founded by SP Diploma in Engineering with Business student Tay Yao Ming and NP Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering student Ian Lee, with support from AI specialists, SP Diploma in Applied AI and Analytics student Felix Isaac Lim and SP Diploma in Information and Technology Chong Kah Hian. The platform transforms long-form videos like live streams and podcasts into short, ready-to-post clips optimised for social media, enabling content creators and agencies to scale output efficiently. The showcase demonstrated how students from SP and other polytechnics are leveraging AI to create impactful, real-world solutions, improve operational efficiency, and enhance daily experiences across sectors. SP’s participation underscored the institution’s dedication to nurturing entrepreneurial talent and providing platforms for students to apply their creativity and knowledge for meaningful industry impact.
