SP has launched a new enabling platform partnership to support Singapore-based enterprises expanding into the Johor-Singapore Special Economic Zone (JS-SEZ). The initiative focuses on business transformation, talent development, and technology adoption. The partnership brings together institutions of higher learning, trade associations, and agencies from both Singapore and Malaysia to address skill gaps through training, upskilling, and reskilling programmes. Key stakeholders include SP, SP International, Southern University College, Sunway University, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia, AutomationSG, the Singapore Manufacturing Federation, Federation of Malaysian Manufacturing, Johor Skills Development Centre, and the Johor Talent Development Council.
