More than 400 participants including students from Nanyang Junior College, NP, and ITE joined migrant workers and domestic helpers for an annual beach clean-up, collecting over 270kg of waste while building meaningful connections across communities. Participants highlighted the inclusive atmosphere, with one migrant worker sharing that “the volunteers treat us like friends and colleagues,” while Mr Josef Tan, 20, president of 24asia and a third-year Diploma in Computer Engineering student at SP said the event “fosters inclusivity and unity” by bringing people from different backgrounds together to connect, learn from one another, and feel valued as part of a stronger, more cohesive society.
