The President’s Challenge Night 2026 fundraising telecast on Sunday, 25 October raised S$11,045,752 for 60 beneficiary organisations. This year’s theme was “Uplift and Inspire”, with President Tharman Shanmugaratnam and his wife Jane Yumiko Ittogi among the guests. One of the evening’s highlights was President Tharman playing the kompang, joking that since he was used to playing sports such as table tennis and football, he could handle another “round” object. Actress Zoe Tay also performed a traditional Malay dikir barat piece with SP’s Seri Thera.
