SP has produced more than 230,000 graduates since it began offering courses in 1957. During Singapore’s rapid industrialisation in the 1970s, SP students were taught across three campuses. The writer recalls personal memories of queuing to submit an application form at the Prince Edward Road campus, attending orientation at the temporary Ayer Rajah campus, and visiting the Dover Road campus for the first time.
